From concept to delivery, we are with you every step of the way.
We listen to your needs, conceptualize a plan and make a presentation. We are masters at making those dollars stretch to give you the best quality product possible. Once we have agreed on a plan, our scriptwriters are called into action.
"You can make a bad movie from a good script, but you can't make a good movie from a bad script."
We don't like surprises and we're certain that you don't either. That's why we make sure that the script is a good, solid roadmap for us to follow. A first draft usually takes about a week. We meet to discuss revisions and work together toward a final draft.
Pre-production includes finding locations to shoot in, conducting talent auditions for the various roles, bringing together the best crew for the job, creating a shooting schedule, ordering equipment, and making sure everything is ready for the shoot days. The pre-production process usually takes a couple of weeks.
Production begins on the first day of shooting. Film and video production is truly a collaborative art. Depending on the scope of the project, the crew can run from 5 to 50 people. Each person on set has a specialized role that they take great pride in doing. In fact, each person is doing the most important job on the production.
In order to maximize equipment costs, an average shoot day is 10 hours. A crew is typically comprised of a producer, director, director of photography, audio technician, grip/gaffer, make-up artist, art director and production assistants. Crossfade Media works with only the best.
Post production begins with the editing process. Editing is a labor intensive process that takes several hours per minute of film or video. The editor puts together a rough edit that is presented to the client for review. Changes are noted and a final cut is ready for final review.
